IIFSS, India is pleased to invite applications for the first batch of India's first 'International Fellowship Program in Forensic Medicine'.
Spread over a total duration of 1.5 Years (18 Months), this intensive hybrid mode program provides a learning environment like no other, focusing on skill development and capacity building for creating well trained professionals in the area of Forensic Medicine and other related sub-fields. The program delivery includes: live online lectures, webinars, case studies, panel/group discussions, e-labwork (observership), and graded assignments together with on-ground practical (hands-on) laboratory trainings, hospital/lab rotations, and, internship opportunities provided by our national and international partner hospitals/medical schools/forensic labs/departments/associations. Students finish off with a 06 months long final research project/thesis work completed in hybrid/on-ground mode at IIFSS and concerned partner institute within India or abroad (optional), which may lead to ... job placements in the near future.
This fellowship is open to both Indian and Foreign Nationals!
Although the program curriculum is based upon the standard MD-Forensic Medicine & DNB-Forensic Medicine curriculum provided by Indian National Medical Commission (NMC) & Indian National Board for Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), respectively, and majorly focuses on Indian legal system. It has been customized to include international standards, medical practices, and international laws keeping in mind students from worldwide interested in pursuing this program and Indians interested in practicing overseas.
