International Institute for Forensic & Security Studies is the only online institution in the world solely dedicated to the study of forensic, criminology, policing, security and investigative sciences. The institution focuses on education, training, case work and research work, and was created with an aim to fulfill the lack of well trained experts worldwide.
We specialize in educating and training existing professionals. From police or law enforcement personnel to forensic scientists, criminologists, judiciary, military, investigating officers and other professionals, along with obviously fresher students, all are welcome to be a part of this global initiative committed towards providing a common platform for worldwide crime fighters, crime stoppers and homeland security professional to acquire knowledge, share experiences, exchange ideas and work collaboratively towards a common cause of combating crime and maintaining security! We believe, if crimes can be cross border and transnational, why can’t training and education towards crime investigation, prevention and security be?
A non-profit organization registered in the year 1992 under Government of India’s Societies Registration Act, 1860, having worked for the past thirty years towards humanitarian causes; providing pre-university/high school education to children from low socio-economic backgrounds in India, and having prepared efficient managers for tomorrow through its AICTE, Govt of India accredited management school in the past, has now ventured into providing an online platform for education, connecting students and professionals from world over and making education accessible cum affordable to all, by means of International Institute for Forensic & Security Studies; an online school having its registered office based out of Lucknow, U.P., India.
Ms. Kajal Singh is a Forensic Investigation and International Relations professional with an experience of around fifteen years in various areas including international collaborations and partnerships, international higher education administration, and managing forensic & security training programs. She brings along the experience of being trained at the INTERPOL General Secretariat, Lyon, France, and working at Gujarat State Government's Forensic Sciences University (GFSU) in Gandhinagar, India, other than running a non-profit academic institution herself.
Educated across three continents; Asia, Europe & North America, Ms. Singh has to her name the successful establishment of India's first Homeland Security & Anti-terrorism degree program, and was appointed as the Chairperson for GFSU's Women Employees and Female Students' Sexual Harassment Prevention Committee, Campus Coordinator for US-India Fulbright Fellowships program, and Coordinator for INTERPOL's First Meeting to promote the use of Fingerprints, DNA & DVI in Identification in Asia, for SAARC Nations, while working for GFSU, together with Coordinating many other important large scale international events presided over by the then Chief Minister of Gujarat State (presently the Hon. Prime Minister of India - Shri. Narendra Modi).
Ms. Singh has visited World Class University's like: Harvard and MIT in the USA to Oxford in the U.K. and dreams to take education worldwide to the next level. She is presently a member of United Nations Association of the United States of America and Former Member of Forensic Science Society, United Kingdom. Kajal enjoys meditation, world languages, traveling, global cuisines and nature parks, and is the Winner of the Indian Achiever's Award-2020 for 'Excellence in Education' for her contributions to the field of education and training. She also presently serves as National President on 'Women Laws in India' Council at Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industries in India.
Every law enforcement and military personnel, emergency service provider, criminologist, forensic scientist, investigator, member of judiciary, other professional, and even a layman in the world, must be well trained to fight crime and combat security threats, only then will it be possible to have a crime and threat free world.
Revolutionizing education in this era of globalization for those committed individuals worldwide in need of training, value addition or upgrading their skills, in order to jointly work towards making the society more just and secure. Creating a global workforce of highly skilled professionals in each and every nation across the world, working hand in hand with their counterpart across borders, beyond limits and with a single aim... combating, reducing and mitigating threats, crime, and criminals...!
